Big Easy Review
I have been to Big Easy before but i must say i recently went and my experience was not great at all. We went to the Covent Garden branch. There was a nice atmosphere however the service and quality of food was not how i remembered. We purposely made a reservation quite early on a Friday night, they were not busy at all however they decided to sit us on the most tiniest of tables and took a good 30 minutes just to ask what drinks we wanted.
For starters which arrived very late we ordered the Grand Appetizer Platter for 2 which included: Voodoo Chicken Wings, Pit-Smoked BBQ Wings, Hush Puppies, Calamari and Deep Fried Jumbo Shrimp. This was dry and tasted very average, the calamari had been overcooked.
After starters i decided just to opt for dessert, as i was not impressed by the food so I chose the Iron Skillet Smores Fondue with Graham Crackers. This was okay ... i have tasted better and was left with just cold marshmallow, as it didn't stay warm for too long. My friend got the Big Easy Smokehouse Burger and even they left their burger and just ate their chips!
Overall i don't think i will be going back again, which is a shame as when i have been previously i couldn't fault it at all!
